We faithfully work and seek to be the church God calls us to be…

 From Acts 2

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need. Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people.

Come and spend time learning, breaking bread, praising God and seeking to respond to God’s love in the world.

CELEBRATING 127 YEARS
OF SERVICE TO GOD'S PEOPLE

Join us on Sunday for healing worship, uplifting music, and relevant preaching, with Holy Communion served on the first Sunday of the month.  Children are invited to attend church school which is structured on a “rotation model” in which children move through stations connected to liturgical themes; nursery care is also available for infants and toddlers.  All are welcome to worship with us, join in fellowship following worship, and discover new ways to work through God in the world.

Basketball Sunday, May 5th!  A Celebration of 20 Years of Hot Shots!

All are invited to play, cheer and fellowship over lunch!

Come kids, parents and adults who like to play and take part in Immanuel’s first Basketball Sunday.  Jim Taylor and Tim Brzeczek will sort and arrange our children, youth and adults into teams for friendly scrimmage.  Coffee Hour will be hosted in Room 105 for those who prefer to watch.  Take some coffee and a treat and go sit on the stage to cheer on the players.  For kids who are too young for basketball we will set up coloring and VeggieTales set up.  So often on a Sunday kids are told to put away the basketballs and stop playing.  On May 5th they are going to worship, go to Sunday School and enjoy the gym in the spirit of our Hot Shot’s Program.  Let’s Celebrate 20 years of Basketball teaching by taking some time to play!  Please sign yourself up to play or to be included in a lunch count.  Lunch will be something simple such as pizza, a fruit and a veggie.  A free will offering will cover lunch.
