Music is an integral part of our worship life and has long been one of the strengths of Immanuel Church. The choral anthems, hymns, responses and instrumental music represent a broad base of musical styles, forms, cultures and traditions. Our new hymnal, Worship & Rejoice, reflects the diverse musical tastes of our congregation.

Our wonderful and dedicated choir enhances our worship and is always looking for new voices. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM from September thru May. The choir also performs special programs during worship throughout the year.

We are blessed to have Peter Slavin as our Director of Music, who received his Doctorate in Composition from The University of California at Berkeley in 2004. He is an accomplished pianist and organist. He is also an excellent music teacher, who helps everyone understand the music and sing better.
